Refund & Cancellation Policy
SKETCH X STUDIO LTD ("we", "us"), UK company no. 17429707, creates custom, made-to-order artwork, including hand-drawn pencil portraits, canvas oil paintings and digital portraits. Every piece is made to your specification from your photographs. This policy explains your rights. It does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Custom and personalised items
Because every artwork is made to your specification and clearly personalised, the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once work has started. We cannot accept returns of completed custom artwork simply because you have changed your mind.
Cancelling your order
- Before work starts: you can cancel for a full refund. Email info@sketchxstudioltd.com with your order number.
- After the sketch or draft has started: cancellations may receive a partial refund that reflects the work already completed.
- After the artwork has been approved, completed or shipped: cancellations are not possible.
Previews and revisions
Where offered, we send a digital preview of your artwork before it is finalised or shipped. Reasonable revisions to the agreed reference and brief are included. Changes to the brief after approval (for example, adding subjects or changing the size) may cost extra.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect items
If your artwork arrives damaged, or is materially different from the approved preview, email info@sketchxstudioltd.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and photos of the item and packaging. Depending on the case, we will repair, recreate or replace the artwork, or issue a full or partial refund.
Digital products (including Christmas offer products)
Digital products are delivered by email. Once the final files have been delivered, digital products are non-refundable, except where the file is faulty or not as described.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days. Shipping on physical artwork is free, so there are no shipping charges to refund.
